Mario Vivas is a visionary entrepreneur originally from Buenos Aires who has successfully brought his passion for creativity, hospitality, and gastronomy to New York City. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Mario has built a reputation for excellence rooted in precision, innovation, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
In 2017, he founded Vivas Events, a full-service event planning and production company known for delivering highly curated experiences. Under his leadership, Vivas Events has become synonymous with sophisticated design, seamless execution, and elevated service standards—offering comprehensive event planning solutions from concept to completion. Each project reflects Mario’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully executed.
A well-established restaurateur in New York, Mario’s work has been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, and international media, recognizing his impact on the hospitality and events landscape.
In 2020, during one of the most challenging periods for the industry, Mario founded Criollas Empanadas, opening its inaugural location at the Columbus Circle Underground Market. The brand quickly gained recognition for its authenticity, quality, and innovation, earning accolades including Governor recognition and being named one of the Top Small Businesses of 2021.
